About the junior consultant job
We are looking for a full-time junior consultant to be part of our consulting team in a project for the development of a technological roadmap for the Peruvian food ingredients sector. The contract will be for the 8 months that the project lasts, with the possibility of becoming a permanent position based on the results obtained.
The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Relations or a related career. Professional experience in business, strategic consulting, regional development, value chains or clusters, innovation systems and competitiveness will be valued.
The ideal candidate should have analytical and interpersonal skills, as well as teamwork, communication and leadership skills. A minimum of two years of experience in business or in the management of public projects oriented to the development of the private sector is required.
In general, the consultant will work as part of a team consisting of a director, a senior consultant and an international specialist from the sector related to the project.
The activities that you will carry out in a project are:
- Permanent contact with clients and participation in meetings and presentations.
- Participation in team meetings, providing ideas, motivation and knowledge.
- Strategic analysis of sectors, based on research, analysis of secondary information and interviews with strategic actors of the sector -in the national and international scope- as well as public and private institutions related to the project in charge.
- Participate in the dynamics of regional development through the identification of key actors and committing them to participate in a process that includes the joint development (public-private) of an action plan to improve competitiveness.
- Responsibilities and tasks that will be assigned gradually.
As a young consultant, high levels of motivation and rapid capacity development are expected.
